Do you have a link to the electric blanket. Sounds like a very good idea.

    Well... ...I'm out.

On the topic of electric blanket. Its going to be the most efficent route as the heat is local and insulated. Where it probably shines the most is the significant reduction of condensation in the space. Not burning fuel which releases water and not warming the air to condense on the walls.

@jordi992 might have some data on heated blanket consumption from the recent weekend of winching, exploding lithium batteries, back eyes and wheels falling off.

They vary but mine is 75w, I think, so about 5 hrs usage from my portable battery. But it shuts off after 30 mins anyway. I haven't needed to use it but I image once it's been heated, the ambient temp will hold for quite some time

    Well i need winter tires.
    1) could run the 10mm-tread-left-CooperST Maxxes on ice and hope for the best.
    2) stud the coopers myself.
    3) Get the 255/80/17 Falcons + new rims (as they are winter rated)
    4) get dedicated Winters on 16" rims (would sell the coopers) probably 265/75 or 70/16 but idk what to get
    5) get Wrangler Duratracs in some configuration. (265/75/16)

issue is, i have a tiny cigarette lighter plugged inverter (itty bitty 250W) so i'm not convinced it'll power an electric blanket. at the same time, i would need to rewire the socket to always be on since it's currently in the arm-rest console.

it's not a bad idea, the issue is getting power to it that i've not looked into yet.
