The blue one is my younger son's, I think the reason he's giving it up is his older brother is giving up his car bed. Having the inspiration of older siblings seems to help sway an opinion.

This thing. Is this bad? There's a wire that looks like it coils around the lower wires and it's just hanging down.

If it's no bueno who do I report it to? Is it cable or utility co? If it's not a big deal I don't care.

 

If it's something bad, call the fire department, they'll know who owns it and what to do. Usually, the high wires are power, the lower wires are data / communications. I can't tell what's really happening based on that picture.

 

Looks like it's split. The free end is hanging. A semk would grab it but a ups truck probably wouldn't. The line cuts the corner in the road so it is directly over the roadway.

All right then. I'll send them a picture tomorrow. I have no idea how long it's been like this so I don't want to make it seem like the world is falling.

 

Oh, that just looks like a lashing that’s starting to come undone. Doesn’t look like power, so it’s be Verizon, Comcast or similar. You can call if you’re looking to kill time but it’s nothing to worry about.

 

I believe thats a telecom line and yeah you can call or maybe even submit something online and they can send someone but I don't think its a high danger situation. I had a line like that from a company that no longer serviced the area at the house and someone came and just cut it down

 

Something to think about. My nephew had a car bed like this and my brother in law painted his dresser red to look like a snap-on toolbox. Looked pretty cool.

 

Or, takeout a second mortgage and get an actual snap on tool box!

That is pretty cool until your buddy forgets the baby is there and closes the lid on his toolbox!

 

There's a low overpass in North Carolina that has its own Webcam so you can watch box trucks peel off the box roof

This is less than a mile from our house. Seen many a truck driver standing next to his rig with a quizzical look on his face. Maybe a year ago somebody stole an Audi and lit it on fire inside. Still scorch marks on the top of the tunnel
