My buddy made his own. Went to yard sales over a summer. Bought any set he could get.
I modified mine with extra cross chains. I think he had like 75 bucks in the whole deal.

    Oh, I plan on it.
I'll knife it off the nut with the band saw.

I should be able use the nut, too. The bottom side still was close to being normal size

Water heaters!!?? on the tractor thread? FWIW - I put in my vote for the " Tankless" Nat gas or propane units (not the electric -as of now they are not very efficient). My first one was a Takagi, it was still working when I sold it "used" for $150. I sold it to change to a "condensing" type unit (PVC vented). I will say that one should have a water softener feeding these units as they have several sensors that can become "non-functional" due to hard water.
I have had these type of units for about 23 years. Nice to not run out of hot water with a "tanked type. Better yet would be a tankless sysyem with a recirculation setup, although tough for me to do for my old (85 Y/O) home

So you’re getting a click and it’s sending voltage to the starter but it’s not turning? Then check to be sure the starter is grounded. If you’re getting voltage to the starter and it’s grounded then your starter is bad.

For all you orange boys, this is a nice addition to the FEL. Welds are good and nice n beefy design. 5% off using “GWT” on their site.

sorry, that would probably help lol

    https://www.jufabworks.com/

with the discount I think it was just a hair over $200 shipped. I was going to weld my own hooks on and receiver but I like this option better. Couple of 1/2” holes and it’s done. No priming and painting peeled off paint from welding.

Will you be putting rubber inbetween the plate and the bucket to keep paint from scratching from vibration? Switching out the bolts to galvanized?

I don't think so, they recommended grease if you were concerned. If the bolts are tight I doubt any significant vibration will occur. My orange sleeps inside so I think the standard zinc plated grade 8 bolts will be fine.

Even if it sleeps inside, you will still eventually see surface rust. Since it will be used for dirt moving and/or snow removal, I would recommend a Grade 8 bolt with a HDG coating.

Or something like this for instance.
