If this is the future, I’m glad I pulled the trigger on a ‘22

 

Secondary air injection system.
And there’s no real fix. You can replace the parts. But the ECM won’t run the pump after shut down like 2013-2015 truck.

 

I believe that is Toyota's answer to the Ford Maverick. It would be on their RAV4 and Camry architecture. Or maybe the Corolla. Any way it's ooooogly!

 

they should put smaller wheels on it. i'd suggest using the radio knobs from a 3rd gen as a template.

I think the Maverick is a really good looking truck. The Maverick owns being a small truck. That Toyota looks like crap. Looks like a little truck wearing a big truck costume.

I'll take a Hyundai Santa Cruz over that.

I've heard talk of the Gen 4 having either a 2.4 turbo or a 2.7 turbo.

What are the model numbers on those engines, please?

Also, IMO, a 2.4 is too small, no matter what the boost is.

How is 320lb feet of torque “too small” at 1900 rpm… the current engine makes 1/3 of that at similar rpm

 

The 2.4 turbo out of the lexus nx makes 320 ft lbs and about 280 hp I believe

OK, so you'll start from a stop like you're being shot from an aircraft carrier catapult, but what about passing acceleration?

 

I just want a front and rear locker, rear disc brakes and a transmission that shifts right

Looks like they took a rav4, went sawzall to the cargo/hatch, welded on a bed and called it done.

Reminds me of when I took my wife’s pilot to the dealer for service and I saw a late model ridgeline in the showroom. From the front it’s hard to tell the difference
