Is there any adjustment at the final latch, the one closest to the tailgate? Mine closes but then I need to put some weight (my whole body) over each latch to get it to fully lock in. I don't see any screws or anything, but I could be missing something.

There is shims under latches, cover side. That's the only adjustability. You have to slam it of push it like you are. You could add another shim.

Great, thanks! Is it easy to access the location to put another shim in?

Open cover one fold , unbolt latch on cover add shim/washers. When I had mine, I removed factory shim so it would pull down tighter.

I ordered my truck with the factory tonneau cover. Idk who installed it but it close's, and seals like a glove. Doesn't require any effort except gravity to latch it closed. Just be sure the tail gate is down before latching the cover.

Mine too, super tight, no leaks, looks like new after 4 years no issues. I close the tailgate and then the cover, followed with a little push on the rear corners until you hear a clicking sound.

I don't even have to push down to hear the cover click. Just closing it does that. We had a rain storm last night, i did my grocery shopping this morning, and inside the bed was perfectly dry.

for me, if i close the tonneau first, then tailgate, it closes fully. if i have tailgate up, then i have to push each side.

I unscrewed it and put a nylon washer under each side, it's still very tight, but a little bit easier to snap closed.

I have always heard folks say that there are "two clicks" to close and properly latch the OEM cover. Mine must be adjusted perfectly as all I have to do is let it go a few inches above the rails and it latches completely and seals right up. And BTW, love my OEM cover too. Damn thing is an absolute beast and tough as nails.

Make sure then bed rail tie downs aren't getting in the way. They will make it very hard to get the second click of the latch. Found this out from experience. Mine were too far forward and there are little bump stops, for when you flip it over.
