In 25 years when this happens, and I’ve got my billions in retirement, I don’t want them implementing an anti inflation tax on me because I’m spending so much but not producing anything. Too many places are employing more people than they need, and then charging the consumer more to pay for all those unnecessary employees. I saw 4 guys pouring concrete in a pothole yesterday. and @kairo had 15 drs working at his nut removal clinic he went to. 4 people taking orders in the chick fil a drive through so Burger King has to pay $15/hour to get anyone to work for them, and then @TreeFortRichard gets screwed on his favorite breakfast coupon when they raise the prices again. Now he’s demanding a raise. So his lab has to charge more to test Kairo’s “sample” to make sure his swimmers are dead. Now he needs a raise. Around and around we go.

i went to Canes recently and they had employees (2) standing outside near the ordering post thing to take orders. one to take the order and one to tell the one standing on the side of them to write the order down. then they'd radio the person at the register to place the order. THEN there was an employee standing outside the pick-up window to take the bag from the person inside the window and hand it to the person in the vehicle. so 3 employees doing the job that o normally 1 person does.

its crazy. initially i thought that maybe the ordering post thing was down, but nah it was working.
