Coming from BMW seats to Tacoma seats, there is nothing you can do to make them anywhere near as ergonomic or comfortable unfortunately.

    Welcome and congrats!

Really wish the Tacoma would cross over to a power full rear window like Tundra and 4Runner. Or at least 60% open window with a 20/20 fixed side portion

I'd get your tires balanced. My passanger seat eventually shook like it was possessed. Had the tires balanced and it was all good to go after that.

Personal preference. I prefer the taco seats to the X3 seats. My woman hated the x3 seats so much it made the entire vehicle a no go for her

I haven't picked up my Tacoma yet (soooon) but I did just see a youtube video where a guy talked about this problem on his 2nd gen, and his solution was weather seal around the door frame to fix this issue. Might be an option for you.

As far as the op feeling these trucks are down on power, unless he got a slow one, or unless expecting what a high performance sports car puts out. Its a truck, and meant to be used as a truck. I don't feel their down on power every time i drive mine...it goes better than my gen1 v8 tundra. It ain't no 4 cylinder.

Next gen Ridgeline might get a power rear window, it would be like driving a Tundra that get good milage. Turbo 4 also coming to a Ridgeline near you.

How can you even compare a ridgeline to a tundra?

The rear roll down window. That's about it and a turbo if it's got a turbo and being compared to a 3rd gen Tundra.

I'd like to see 3rd gen Ridgeline owners compare their trucks to 3rd gen Tundra owners trucks.

I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to add a little more acceleration. If there's not there's not - simple as that. I fully understand I bought a truck and have the appropriate expectations. It was just a comparison of what I was coming from to add context.

    Try engaging ECT.
Other than that, I suppose you can research one of these Engine Control Module (ECM) "tunes"... The vehicle is set up to turn as few rpms as possible to save on fuel economy. A tune can change that. Here's an example.

    Thanks! Makes sense.

I looked up previously mentioned KDMAX and their closest location was about a three hour drive. Anyone have recommendation closer to me in Myrtle Beach?

Once you get Seatjackers you prolly won’t want to go back. When I sit in my passenger seat it feels like I’m sitting so much lower, and there just isn’t as much leg support, especially right behind the knees.

Good ole first gens. Love the Tacoma more, but boy was that 4.7 a good motor. Just the sound alone, and torque for days…
