Yeeee. It's also great because I usually (when I get fast food) am geting it at like 10PM. So, I can drop it in 10 minutes out, and not wait a while when I get there.

It's still obnoxious if I did it during the day though. The local subway by work was great. Put it in online about 5 minutes before you leave, and it's ready when you get there. You skip the line. Drive thru pickup you still have to wait in the whole line so what's the point.

Wut. Mine is like 250 a month max in the winter, but we have ours level loaded by the utility so it's 100$/mo all year long.

 

Just had to drop 10 grand on a wood burning stove so that I wouldn’t have to pay $2000 every winter on propane.

 

Oof. You can find those cheap on facebook all the time. I'm half-heartedly looking for one to stuff into my fireplace. Last I looked one that MIGHT have fit was like 250$.

Holy shit that $5.49 came % of a cent from filling...I almost cancelled it but nope...That's why it's there...To get flushed out by scheduled % sell offs to trigger stop losses It's always amazing how the charts always seem to fit the pattern...which begs the question...Do the patterns determine the charts or do the charts set the pattern. If everyone uses the same set of rules for trading they will reinforce the rules by using them! Is it intrinsically determined or is it all just governed by the routine. The runner always goes from home to first to second etc because that's what the rules say. IF you stand a baseball player at home plate and say "After you hit the ball run to 3rd....270 feet later he's on 3rd...IF you tell someone who doesn't know the rules "Hit the ball and run to third..." They get there in 90 feet...much faster!

The stove brand new was like $4000 but the triple wall pipe and going thru two roofs was the other $6000
26% tax rebate tho so that helps. I figure it will pay for itself in three or four years of not buying so much damn propane.

 

Ah, yeah, we have a chimney in the house already. If we get one we're just dropping the stainless steel thing down through that and calling it a day.

I'm half tempted to get one just for the supplementary of it. We have piped NG so we're pretty efficient, but would be nice to just cut and stack some wood for fun in the summer and just have some weekends/super cold nights backed up with that just 'cuz.

I did also look at setting up a radiator type thing on top of it, and using that to pipe the water through for the whole house. Still a thought in the back of my mind. But this will all be for 2025 to deal with and figure out.
