Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

With that description we have a morbid interest, we need a picture now.

 

While I'm here, just built a small bench for a patriotic guy for his garage. Here is the bench seat...

 

wish I could take pictures in my plant. We have a compressor house. 2 steam turbine compressors and 6 electric compressors. Most of them are over 25 years old and always in some state of repair.

 

That's a big fat nope ghostrider. Worst piece of equipment in my shop.

 

With some of the stuff I drag home it would be difficult to assign a "worst" title to any of it...

This was the biggest one I ever had, sold it a few years ago. Schramm pneumatractor. 160CFM. It belonged to the Navy at one point. Had an in-line 6 with the front 3 engine and back 3 compressor.

 

I was expecting that plate to say mfg by the Hoyt Clagwell Co.

 

I appear to be am fat.

 

Went by and saw my best friend yesterday who’s brother killed himself Tuesday. Went by and saw one of his other brothers and family today. The wife was there of the man who committed suicide. She gave me a big hug and we were both crying and she said “please don’t remember him for what he did, remember the good times”.

Breaks my heart, if anybody is having trouble, please reach out to someone.

I left at 3ish, maybe a tad before

 

Many moons back, I worked offshore on a vessel that had twin 16 Waukesha that ran compressors for 12” hose to trench, “run pigs”, etc. those were MONSTERS!
