    SO, there you go. The consensus of the board is: cleaning fluid. User error. False alarm. Ooops ;) But, if your AC doesn't work when the weather turns hot, you'll remember this, and know exactly when it failed.

    Does A/C dye freeze? Probably not. Since it gets pretty cold in the evaporator.

    After all this debating, I don't think it's either one.

    freon would evaporate instantly if there was a leak...your truck takes pink coolent. Id say its something from the road or soap from washing.. theres nothing green in your truck that will leak. C/V grease is.... grease... which isnt green either..

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    Freon is r12 which uses ester oil as a lubricant. Suva is r134 which uses PAG oil as a lubricant. Both use a green dye to aid in leak detection. The dye will glow under a black/uv light.
    Cv boot grease is black. Only ethylene glycol coolant is green. Propylene glycol coolant for toyotas is pink or red. Tire cleaner at most self serve, scrub yourself, car washes is green and freezes.
    Your ac runs when you run the defrost. If the compressor cycles faster than normal, runs for a very short time, or not at all with the ac running, it's low on suva.
