Yeah I can get my alignment pretty damn close in the garage but its nice for them to get it dead on if they can. We dont have the best alignment shops up here.

yep thats him. He didnt really say how he ended up there. I was guessing he pulled over to take a leak but out there why not just park on the road. You can see people coming.

I dont think either. He just is learning and pushing the truck past his capabilities. The truck is over built for him so false sense of confidence.

Has any one tried running a small compressor off their plug in the bed of their truck?

Most tend to get the one that has battery clamps. With only 400 watts it wont usually be enough to create the pressure needed to keep it pushing. If it does it will just die usually after a few seconds. @XPOTRPR and I tried it a month or so back. It was a rather large tire tho.

Its like 3amps max. So, not a big one for tires. But air mattresses and such. sure,

A small vehicle air compressor for filling tires? Like a Viair or ARB?

Or a bigger air compressor that you would use in a house to run an air nailer, or to run air tools in your garage?

If the first, you don't want to go from DC to AC and then back to DC just to run the compressor, big waste of energy and efficiency.

If the second, a typical outlet in your house is ~1650 volts, fyi (15 amps x 110 volts). So the 400W in the bed of your truck is very weak relatively.

Anyone have an Autel TPMS tool to clone new sensors? I'm down in Sierra Vista, but go to Tucson and Phoenix regularly.

Stuff that costs more than my wife thinks.
I actually aired up with a pancake compressor with the back outlet in a pinch.

I don't particularly recommend going this route, however, and would go with battery clamps as KOTN mentioned above. The wall-outlet compressors are usually going to take up more space as it is.

Yeah in a pinch it will work. Probably took awhile. Just not a long term viable solution. Especially in todays market place of all the options we have available to us.

Since we’re talking bed outlet has anyone found a coffee maker that will brew using the outlet? I normally just use a jet boil and French press, but having a full pot would be nice.

I use the same methods you do aswell. I am sure just a regular drip coffee maker would run fine off the 400w. I have ran a george forman off it before.
