Yah I would do it myself but I lost everything in a house fire just about a year ago. So I have no real tools at the moment. No jacks no stands ect..That’s why I’m searching for someone close to do the job. You can do mine if you want I’ll pay ya haha.

If you ever need a place to do some DIY work, my driveway and toolbox in Sandy can be shared.

Can you diagnose issues related to Pre-Collision, Lane Departure and Headlight Malfunction issues?

I’m seriously wishing I had kept my 2017.

Do you have Techstream and a Tactrix or VF cable?

Do you have aftermarket headlights or tail lights? I’ve seen those mess up things when the connectors get wet and corrode.

Negative. I don’t have Techstream, Tactrix or VF Cable.

I don’t have aftermarket headlights or twilights, but I did remove the blind spot sensors after installing my bumper, so that’s a possibility, but not sure why it wouldn’t throw a code for that?

I’m looking into an OBD2 scanner. Can those clear codes?

My go to Toyota dealership hasn’t been helpful. I think there has been a change in direction.

It’s not. The beeping is driving me crazy.

There IS such a thing as too much tech. But the public never seems to get that simple stuff breaks less often and is easier to fix.

Some (most?) can, and they can clear some codes. I think there's certain systems that a basic off the shelf scanner can't read that I've read about on here but can't remember what they are from memory.

I've got a scanner if you wanna swing past my place and we can take a look.

Shameless plug for Scanguage, which can give you useful metrics and also clear codes.

There's a guy everyone says on Facebook that could probably do it.

Noah Taylor I think, I'm sure someone here knows his shop or whatever

He def could and is a good guy to be around. He's sorta hard to get ahold of in my experience; He's out busting his ass doing something every waking minute it seems. And good on him!

    Not really...

But I'd buy that it is in the interest of making money.

Have you had an alignment recently? Could just need the Zero Point recalibrated. I have TS and could plug in and poke around, but am out of town until next week. I’m in Millcreek, let me know if you’d like me to take a shot and clearing it. I’ve had decent luck identifying and clearing some things when tuning trucks. Happy to take a peek, no tune necessary.

I can get everything to work properly, when i turn off the pre-collision system, so I’m taking it back to the dealer to see what they say. I’m thinking the radar/sensor in the grill might have gone bad.

it might be a long shot, but we’ll see. If that doesn’t work, then I’ll take you up on your offer. Thx.
