Anyone know of a good brand that will fit under a hard flip tonneau cover? I have an UnderCover and it sits pretty low.

I don’t know about those, but the black ones will rust if you don’t protect them. I wiped mine down with FF and they haven’t rusted, that was yrs ago. I had an extra one in my tool box that wasn’t protected and it developed surface rust.

Don’t have that set but as I said above I have a similar setup. Been installed for years. No rust, no issues other than the fact that they clack the bedside when off-road. Can be annoying.

“Stainless”…but in all likelihood that only applies to the t-nuts and maybe the bolts. I bet the d-rings and beaners are not stainless but if under a tonneau cover rust should be minimal regardless.

No experience with these (my Mountain Top checkerplate tonneau now uses those C-channels to mount the rails that hold the tonneau), but Ryan, the guy behind The Garage Journal forum (and a member here, I believe) just posted a writeup on these:

    https://www.garagejournal.com/billet-cargo-tie-downs/

Dunno how well they'd fit with your Undercover -- they don't drop below the C-channel like the D-rings -- but might be of interest to some folks.

I bought these but ended up returning. They caused my tonneau cover to not sit flush. Back to looking for something else.

That’s to bad. Can’t imagine how. If the channel is below the bed rail. Got pics?
