at first I was looking at realistic looking GoT style dragon costumes but a.) I'm not a millionaire and b.) I realized that would probably scare the shit out of her lol

There was a time where I wanted a REALISTIC costume of something, and holy shit people will spend a good $10k for something really nice looking.

That's 'fuck you' money right there.

yeah some people go crazy, but some are also really good at making their own. I just don't have that patience or craftiness with fabric.

When I was 8 or 9 and in my fighter jet pilot phase, my dad picked up an old Air Force jumpsuit from a surplus store. I wore it to school for some Halloween day thing, and when my mom washed it she found an old dime bag full of weed in one of the pockets and actually confronted me asking if it was mine lol. I should've brought that up in family therapy years later.

being 8 and having your mom come to you in tears asking if you're smoking pot when you don't even know what it is....was a memorable experience haha.

she gave it to my dad and he probably stashed it for himself. Though it was probably some trash 30 year old Vietnam War era weed

    You should!

I don't know if this has happened to you at all, could just be me and feeling my age.

I'll replay some old school games, and I'm still really good at a few (Mega Man, Punch Out, etc) but other games I used to be good at I'm just horrible :rofl::rofl:

I had the Crash Bandicoot series and I tried playing through that; I actually got frustrated and shut it off on multiple occasions :bananadead:

Crazy how times changed and how easy it is to get weed now.

Told @Wulf this one but I had gotten some seeds when I was 13-14 years old.

Learned to germinate seeds in woodshop so I applied the same at home. Actually started growing a nice sized plant in the balcony of our apartment, I was so proud of it.

Then I get home one day and apparently my aunt saw it and took it home. Never confronted her about it but man it was the first time I ever grew anything and I was so happy I kept up with it so well.

Oddly enough, I never got the 'talk' about drugs :anonymous:

probably kept it for herself and knew you wouldn't ask cause you might get in trouble lol

When I was 22 or so I had a hookah on the patio of my apartment, after my mom and dad split up he moved in with me for about a year. One of the first things he did was throw my hookah in the trash, when I asked him about it he said "neighbors are all gonna think we sit here smoking opium all day"

    that hookah wasn't cheap

    NO FREAKING WAY

He moved in with YOU and tossed YOUR hookah away?

Damn...I never owned one (or even used one) but even I know they aren't cheap.

yeah that living situation took some adjustment. But one huge benefit was that because he was so used to my mom cooking food, he never wanted to cook and didn't want to go out alone so he would just buy me beer and dinner every night, we became local regulars at the restaurant down the street and bar. That's where my Belgian beer habit started.
