Had a not planned disaster today. Had a exhaust leak driver side so got all new gaskets and manifolds and bolts. Everything was coming loose nicely up until the very back bolt. The head spun right off. Looked to be broke for a while. (Hence the leak). No big deal lots of threads to turn it out.
Pulled manifold and as soon as I grabbed the remaining bolt, it broke again inside the head.
Couldn’t find anything small enough to drill with as there is only about 2.5 inches of clearance to the firewall.

a mechanic buddy stopped by and didn’t have any good suggestions. So we did what we had to to get access to it. :annoyed:
Hope to get it drilled out tomorrow morning and put back together before the weekend is done.

Messing with anything exhaust has to be one of my least favorite things. I’d put it right there with mustard, they both make me want to :puke:

    Good morning folks :hattip:

Hearing the news out of Raleigh makes me sick. I hope none here have been affected and if so, I wish you peace.

Have a good weekend. Be safe out there.
