Personal opinion but flares always look better in my eyes. Just a beefier fuller look imo

Finally ready to install my 3rd Gen suspension. So do I really need an alignment afterwards? Even though it’s “stock” suspension? Also, should I wait and add an add-a-leaf to the new rear pack or just go with the stock 3rd Gen pack?

I figured I’d need an alignment for the front, but do I need on for the back? It’s my daily driver and I work odd hours (retail). Not sure if I’d be able to complete a full swap while also being able to get an alignment on my weekend. Can I get by replacing the front and getting alignment and then doing the rear springs the following weekend?

Today I replaced my transmission mount. Old one was showing signs of sagging. I have done a number to my transmission crossmember so I had to cut it out and did the best I could for a temporary fix to get it back into shape. I also unbent and reinforced/remade the transfer case crossmember. Welded all that back in and it’s (almost) good as new.

Since I had the skids off I went ahead and refreshed the entire front end as well.

Changed the oil. Put new front brake pads. Checked all the nuts and bolts for my Moab trip next weekend. And tore apart the dash to get the stereo to sit better. Aftermarket surround never quite fit right. Some fussing and finally some dremeling and it fits perfect

Possibly I need to hose off this truck :mudding:

Fitment issues? I've read reviews saying they're nice, but some have complained they either didn't fit correctly or worse, showed up scratched and/or cracked.

This isn’t your typical ridiculous I cleaned my engine bay post. Cause I wheel every other weekend and who gives a shit if the engine bay is dirty.

This is I’m a giant fucking idiot and didn’t notice yesterday when I changed my oil that the old black oil filter o-ring stayed put and I put the new filter on top it. Needless to say the seal blew about three blocks from home. Had a neighbor come rescue me, I changed the filter and oil on the side of the road and am now trying to degrease the engine bay. Dumbass.
