    Aus won his fight. Was a very emotional fight. They did a tribute video about Maxx on the Jumbotron, no one had any idea they were doing that along with a moment of silence. I had to get out of there, I couldn’t watch cuz it was really tough for me….my dumbass ran out to the lobby to cry in the corner :anonymous:
    Aus made a speech after his fight that broke my heart.
    I didn’t say anything prior to the fight cuz I didn’t want anyone to think I was making excuses if he lost but he was fighting with 4 significant injuries.

    About 7 ish weeks ago he fell and got a bone bruise with swelling and stitches on his knee
    About 5 weeks ago he said something fluky happen in practice and he hurt his right elbow… again swelling and could not bend or extend it fully. Was seeing a recovery person and chiro who wanted him to get it xrayed as they felt it was broke. He refused cuz he said he wouldn’t be released to fight.
    The least of his concern was his shin…. Had something going on with it, very tender and you guessed it, swollen.
    Last week…. Did this to his heel in practice

    Tnis is the only pic he sent me of the injuries that I didn’t delete…. Pry cuz I’m a deleter and I get rid of most things on my phone as soon as I’m done with them so pic’s of knee and elbow are gone

    I did something I’ve never done before and last week I asked him not to fight. To wait, heal up, and fight on the next card. In addition to multiple injuries…. Throw on top of that the heavy heart he is carrying for Maxx. I was afraid he wouldn’t be able to focus and he’d be vulnerable especially given all his injuries. I didn’t want to see him get hurt after losing one child. He refused…
    He won…. Went all 5 rounds, got the belt and Fight Of the Night Award.
    Tonight was very tough but it’s over.

    @Chunk Im sorry your stream didn’t work…. I had people telling me once they switched to laptop they had no problems.
    After you text thst you couldn’t watch, I started recording with my phone, I think from round 3…. I’ll text them to you tomorrow.

    Congrats to Aus ! I’m sure that was a hell of a fight with everything going on and his injuries. You guys have to stay tough and strong which I’m sure you are :muscleflexing:
