Toss a kickass camper on the back of it and that would be one badass camp truck.

 

Yea Plus this thing has a divorced transfer. Case has super low gear. When you stick it in low one get out and walk beside it. It is badass

 

It's all in the trans the divorced case should be an np205 which has a worse 4L than the tacoma. Pretty much all the older cases had worse gearing than the modern cases.

 

F-me I thought earth roamers were expensive back in the day! These are $289k starting out.

 

Sooo… we were talking about a mod day, and I may actually need that sooner than later lol.

Turns out my subtle vibration hasn’t been my tires but instead has been my needle bearing. I know this isn’t the “end all be all” test, but 4x4 fixes the issue. I’m going to do the swap to the bushing but would love one of y’all’s help if you’re able! I’m unsure if this is something I need a shop to do or not.

Either way.. I figured while I have my struts off to adjust the snap ring I may as well do this at the same time.

I absolutely would pay for the help as well lol, I’m not a total cheapskate! Shop quoted me 500 alone to adjust my snap ring. Lord knows what they’ll charge for the needle bearing.

 

got my two front door speakers replaced in the land cruiser... I think they may have needed it. I imagine the rears look about as bad.

My original plastic cover came off so I replaced it... don't hate on it... you know it's sexy.. it's 100% aluminum
