Don't worry I have my limits. I'm not going to touch that.

Thanks, I'm jonesing to see it again. It's been in the garage with a completely new look that I haven't been able to see in over a month cause the fucking fiberglass fenders are stuck at the freight yard. Should be able to get um tomorrow.

Sucks you've got the older Taco

The other day someone needed white fenders for an 01-04, offering fiberglass wide fenders for trade

All the glass for 95-04 is supposed to be the same. Only difference is how the side lights attach and they leave the tab on for use old guys when they make the fenders

Nope, that stuff is all unchanged. 1st gens body work is nearly all identical minus the front grille area and in the case of the 01-04 the hood shape (but even that tapers down to 95-00 height on the sides so the fender tops are unchanged)

02 Tacoma, fixed with curse words.
I just don't get the appeal of the fj80 series. I have wheeled with a bunch of them and just don't get the hype. I would take a Tacoma with a rear locker over one anyday especially for offroad use.

I do like the rear axle that I removed from one and put in my Tacoma though.

I kind of felt the same after owning mine for nearly a year. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the beefy frame, solid axles with the FF in the rear, and the high seating position with plenty of interior space. But it was slow and ponderous with the 4-speed slushbox, and with open diffs it was often got bogged down in the mud since it weighed 2.5 tonnes stock.

I think with a 5 speed manual, turbo, and lockers it would be an awesome rig though.

No, just a pic a friend suggested I submit since I didn't last year.

That 4R replaced the Tacoma I had; I found more value having an SUV over a truck and when I met my wife and got another dog, the Land Cruiser gave me the extra room I needed

Sometimes I want a regular cab Tacoma :anonymous:
