Tried searching but unable to find a thread about which portable air compressors that will fit behind or under seat of 3rd gen DC rear seat. Hoping a ViAir 300 or 400 will fit back there

Viair has a compressor model/tire size chart. Make sure the air machine you buy is sized for the tires U expect to run.

I bought the ARB dual portable compressor a while back. Expensive but it has been the best piece of off road equipment purchase i have made. I could even use it to even run some airtools in a pinch.

Looks like a good option and can use different brand compressors which is nice. Anyone have any pics or tips for install of this? Their website doesn’t say anything
Edit: Nevermind I found video on expedition essentials website

I actually haven't used it, yet - more for an emergency than every day use. It certainly doesn't have the power of the 300 or 400 but it's rated up to 33" tires. Probably not what you want if you are going to use it regularly, though.

I have it and have used it a few times already. I have stock tires 265/70/r16 and they fill up at a fast enough pace. I run my tires at 32-35 psi and airing up to that from 18psi ish took about a minute-ish - minute and a half ish per tire if I recall correctly.

Its compact and has worked fine. It does get very hot so if you get it, be careful. it does cool down quickly enough. The bag is ridiculously small and you won't be able to zipper it shut completely. The only thing that I have heard is to get an extra fuse or two in case the fuse pops. Its worked each time so far and for me, works great. I don't need to haul a larger compressor just to fill up a bit faster. Why be in a rush? it fits great behind the seats and is light.
