Just catching up on the latest with morning coffee. I was chuckling at the insurance costs....we have 21 yr old twin girls and 17 yr old twins, boy & girl - all 4 licensed to drive here in MA. Have 5 vehicles registered/ insured, 4 paid off, just a bit left on my wife's Lexus. I think we're close to 7K a year for insurance - that's with no violations, reported accidents, etc. Need to spring for a new tire and/ or driver's side rear rim every year or so, older 2 can make Dean's list every semester, but have a lower success rate making it thru a coffee drive thru unscathed! Have a good weekend, looks like a good one! Bill in Plymouth

Deanosaurus - Can't help with the decals, but the rims look great. I may have missed it, but where did you have them done? - Thanks!

Wife and I are doing something we haven’t done since we had kids, go on a vacation with just the two of us. We get a week in the Virgin Islands. Jet Blue lost the bags for half the flight coming down (no exaggeration), and I was part of the unlucky half. My wife’s bags made it thankfully. I told her I have a change of clothes, my toothbrush and my bathing suit in my carry on, I’m good for a week, right?
Here’s the view from my room for the first part of the trip.

Even with the lost bags, I think I’ll survive!

Vermont Coatings, a bit north of Burlington. Guy does crazy good work for way less than decent work elsewhere. Super low profile, I think powder is something he does as part of his main biz and makes a little on the spare capacity.

Had a date day with my wife. Went to the Wachusett apple festival. But I went to cut my hair this morning and the clippers died, Luke after 10 years if not more....needless to say I went to target wearing a hat and bought a decent set. What an upgrade from before!

Depends on the problem, I’ve built a buddy’s motor but I’ve never had to personally deal with the pain of owning one.
