Really don't want to do a lift or leveling kit....(22' i-4 RWD access cab) So I've come across several U tuber's suggesting possibly running 235/85 r16 on oem suspension and wheels. I think it gives me a 1-1.5 lift? Has anyone tried and was it successful?

Tires are not cheap, why not just do a lift?
And I’m not sure what you’d be possibly sacrificing/compromising, for the worst, with that tire size…. I’m sure someone else will chime in on this.

    4 run, 2 don't
Tons of people put larger tires without a "lift"

Need to remember that lifts don't give you clearance for larger tires, cab mount chop, trimming, and body lifts do

With that said, 235/85/16 is only a 32" tire

If 31" tires are what your vehicle come with from the factory, you'll only net 1/2" of lift...not sure where you're getting 1 1/2" unless your factory tires are only 29"
