Smith and Wesson Sigma 9mm

What do yall think about a Sigma 9mm?

 

I have the sigma in .40 and love it...never a problem. Great gun

 

when i bought mine i couldnt decide if i wanted the 9mm or the .40 cal i went with the 9mm.

 

I have two S&W's and love 'em both.
Not familiar with that one, but I'm sure it's nice. My favorite is the M&P 9C.

 

I've never owned or shot one but based on my countless readings of gun forums, they are given bad reviews about 98% of the time.

 

^this, it's not the same thing as a m&p...

 

they are a glock knock off iirc smith got sued for copyright infringement over it....they have a gritty heavy trigger pull but other than that they are a nice pistol

 

It is what it is. I picked up a .40 (SW40VE) for $250 brand spankin new.

The last few years that they've made them, it's a cheap gun that fires very reliably - never had a fail to fire or fail to feed.

That being said, they're not the most comfortable to shoot and they have a very stiff trigger.

It was worth it for me to have a good defense gun that I knew would work and wouldn't sweat if it were stolen.

 

I got my wife the Sigma 9mm she really likes it. Its a great gun the only thing i dont like is the long trigger pull. Still shoot accurate with the long pull its just that feeling that your pulling forever before it goes off. Oh and her gun hates federal ammo. Jams like every 3rd rnd. Everything else shoots great.

 

I personally think the Sigma is junk the M&P is a good hand gun.

 

I have an M&P .40 and a Smith and Wesson SD40. Both are great guns. I love the feel of the SD40, if I recall right they made it to upgrade/replace the Sigma. Look into it, its got a great feel, one of the stock options that I like about it is that its front dot sight is tridium. Not sure about the Sigma..
