That company that sent me a tail tidy to review a while back is going to send me an electric heated vest to do a video on:goingcrazy: perfect timing, too, it's been in the 30s in the mornings here

Edit: just kidding, they responded this morning and already gave away their review stock for it :pout:

    None... yet.
Yes! Just had a set delivered for the wife's Pri-yoos and they had been sitting in the sun in front of my garage when I got home. Hauled them in, shut the door, and just stood over them for a few seconds, enjoying the smell! If I could make as much $$$ working in the tire dept. of Costco as I do now, I'd be doing that in a heartbeat!

FJR forum does a calendar contest every year. I got a photo in once for 2020. Thinking of submitting this one. Opinions?

Less than one hour from me. Really popular place to do photo shoots for just about anything. In June they had an Arts and Brews Fest there. Always changing and evolving.

    I'm debating this..

    https://www.hillcofasteners.com/pro...neItemId=1e6964df-5411-4ced-b418-635dd910dcaf

600pc nut and bolt assortment, $120 then with shipping about $150 out the door. I feel like I might have hit that point in my life where I'm sick of running to the hardware store every time I need a random bolt.

Anyone got a source for a better assortment? The hondas use a JIS finer thread than most metric nuts/bolts, so I'm having a hard time finding a better deal or a smaller kit. I specifically know I need two m10 x 1.25 x 35mm, and most assortments go from 30mm to 40mm skipping 35.

Whatever kit you get it still won’t have what you need when you need it.

Sigh, you're not wrong though. That's a flanged kit, with my luck the next 10 bolts I'd need would all be regular hex head

When I was actively working on the Yamaha I had the same dilemma and would swap out to socket hex every little project at a time. Just a little upgrade while I was working on one corner of the bike but it became super annoying finding the varying lengths and thread pitches one at a time. Ugh.

@greenEFSI was swapping out all the hardware on his truck to 12pt ARP fasteners so it’s not outside the realm of reality if you’re dedicated.

There's a special place in hell for those. 23 year old me thought it'd be a great idea to use them on every AV rack for security for our rack gear, but 32 year old me now can't find the damn bit half the time when I have to pull something and has to chisel the center off with a flat head to undo them

    That's dedication!

Let's be honest here though, I'm probably just going to end up using some crusty corroded too long bolt I found in my spare bucket, spray it in carb cleaner, cut it down to the right length with a grinder, chase it, and send it :anonymous:
