back up camera

what headunit did you buy with a camera?

 

So if I pick up the Amazon Tailgate handle can this work with a rear view mirror with screen as I am not planning on replacing my head unit.

 

I actually upgraded my tailgate handle with Pop and lock and put the camera inside where its suppose to go, looks much better!
The Radio I have is the new Android 8.0. Blows away any Alpine , kenwood or Pioneer that I know of. Does much more like a Smart phone.

 

I already have stock camera in the tailgate handle but would like to move the camera up higher on my shell, does anyone know if they make some sort of wiring extension for this?

 

Chris, Did you ever find a solution? I want to build a camper top and place a new backup camera on the back (tailgate will be removed.

 

I never found an extension. At that time, the only reason for me moving the camera was because I had a rear tire swingout with no camera mount. I no longer have a swingout so my camera is still in the handle. Sorry.
