    It was 2020, not a 2022.
I fixed the post above. 2022 is not supported yet.

I was the fortunate one to get tuned today by Kaleb with KDMAX Pro+XT. The truck has great throttle response, holds gears like it should, acceleration feels much more crisp and linear and MPG seems to be improved. I got around 23 on the way home from where we met to home which was about 45 miles with hills and lots of traffic. Before the tune the truck would immediatelydownshift to go up hills but after the tune it held the gear and allowed for more throttle to propel it up the hill. This was probably my biggest complaint, among others, with the stock tune. All in all I am very happy with the results!

Does it have the capability of gear lock. 6th is useless unless on flat ground would be awesome to be able to lock it in 5th

There is shifting maps. 6th can be increased to not be used or used at high speed/highway only.

you can build it out that way combining ECT+S and some adjustments to shift parameters to make it closer to manual shifting

I also had the opportunity to tune a 2020 2.7L auto yesterday with the KDMax Pro+XT-L. All went well and the client was happy with the result. Was able to get rid of his Sprint Booster :)

The 3.5ls have the same transmission and some have a TC tolerance issue that causes a feeling like that.

Some say that a careful tune can fix it. Otherwise, hammer your dealer.

Yes, feels like its running out of gas for a second, surges on/off repeatedly, enough so a passenger even noticed it. Ive been contemplating a pedal controller and have now adjusted my foot to drastically "over throttle" it. That + getting it on cruise control erases the feeling.

    2022 2.7 with 10k miles, 5.29 rear.

Yeah. He said that he bought some ECUs to pull the Stock tunes and they were already ones that he had. It has gone quiet, even for the 3.5l update that was being talked about.

The best that I can say is, hold tight. I know, it sucks.

Fuck me. You're a beast. Haha!

But, sorry. Stuff has gone quiet though. Both for the 2.7l tunes and even the 3.5l except for one update on the GearLock option that is not fully working yet. I promise to update folks if anything develops, but I cannot seem to move it along.

Honestly, it may help a bit if 2.7l folks send in messages to vFTuner support system. It would show how many folks are waiting.

We also need the 2016 - 2017 MT ECU ID to complete the list.

Hi I’m the one with the 2017 AT with ECU ID 04A23. Downhill Dragon mentioned to me that I would have to yank my ECU and mail it to VFTuner Mat in Virginia to get it supported. Only problem is it’s my only car :/

I had the same response from a local tuner too, they wanted to use my ECU and same - I kinda need my truck! Lol.

Why don't these places have the ability to source their own ECUs? Why do they need to borrow everyones?

Anyways, I have the el-cheepo 9-Drive throttle controller and it has been laughably effective in giving the near instantaneous response it should and deserves to have. Still not a lot of power, but at least there's no more 2 second delay in getting it
