FlipPac lift arm repair?

    I bought my FlipPac in 2013, used. This weekend while lifting it, it broke right where the lift arm enters the lid, metal fatigue. I would be grateful for any repair suggestions.     Definitely not a zip tie repaire.
    if it's aluminum, you will need a tig welder. They need grind off all the junk on the shell and replace the whole bracket.
    Aluminum, fiberglass or steel?

    steel, strongly magnetic though color looks aluminum.
