    im going for the black out look on my white taco, bumpers are the only thing left all shiny, has anyone tried to paint their bumpers

    Bumpers? You get some cool chrome front bumper that I don't know about? ;)

    I've seen the rear bumper painted black and it looked good. Not so sure about painting that front bumper, but either way, post pictures!

    not to shabby, i like the textured look. I did painted my emblems with a hammer finish so it might go hand in hand. did you have a shop do that for ya

    nah man.............i do everything myself. i prepped and cleaned it all real good, then brushed a few coats of the liner on..letting it dry with each coat. turned out pretty good to me.

    getting there....
    to me, its worth it. prep is super easy(including removing the tag lights and bumper caps), and the quart of herculiner i used, which i still have more than half left, was only like $30. a few hours of time, and you are done.

    getting there....
    get the quart of herculiner at pepboys, and you will also need some 200 grit sandpaper(its what i used anyway), and a short bristled stiff brush for brushing it on, or a small roller if you wanna go that route.
