So... a leg?

Never had moose. Does it cook like beef?

 

Its got a sweeter taste but its good

 

Probably more like deer. There isn’t as much fat as beef. Tastes different than a deer, and as isolated as I am I’ve never had any similar game (like elk or caribou) to compare it to.

 

Had a good day working in the truck. Got the manifolds all bolted up and torqued. Brother showed up so we dropped the motor back in. Took about an hour or so. Got everything hooked back up and changed the oil.
Just need to let it get up to temp and check the coolant level for air and put the hood back on.
Very relieved to have it back running and even better the exhaust leak isn’t there.

And those things ran quieter than today's stuff!

I was going to buy a house that was built in the 1940's and had a nice garage/shop for me. But all the heating runs were lined in Asbestos and the loan officer frowned at that pretty bad. Shame, that house has public water/sewer and the garage/shop was damn nice!

Cook some red meat in a pan with a healthy amount of these, deadly combination...

Would marinating help? We don’t get that game around here and it’s been years since T. Pittari's was around…
