Rented once. It sucked because the rent money was gone forever, no recouping that.

Didn’t coat anything. (Well, except rent)

 

License tags are high here. And we also have trash pick up to your list

 

I live in the county. We don’t have trash pick up.
I could pay for it, but I don’t.

Tags are $64 a year.

That’s a stupid surcharge.
I’d rather them just go up on the rate, than to try and appease me with a lame excuse.

 

Sorry to change topic, but going back to my truck, I am thinking that just replacing the cylinder head in its entirety would be a good idea. According to Thompson, the factory manual recommends against machining the head. Yes, it would be nice to have higher compression and moderately more horsepower, but I want to do what's best for the truck in the long term. The truck needs to last until 2024.

 

And that is bullshit!

 

Wise idea re the machining. There's always a trade-off in modding something as it was originally made.

 

If they don’t/can’t mill it. You’ll have to get a new one. Still cheaper than a whole engine.

 

I am finding complete cylinder heads for the 2TR-FE online, but I am willing to pay out the ass to make sure that it's Toyota/Denso OEM...

 

And the truck will still be out of commission for a shorter period of time.

 

IMO you would be foolish not to make sure it's OEM. Buy once cry once.
