    I’d go the eBay route. I bought the TRD skid based on “looks”. I’m old enough to know better but got suckered by cheap marketing. The reality is, I mounted it and never notice it during the course of a normal day. It’s UNDER the freaking truck! Save some $$ with eBay… or… toss more of your cash Toyotas way? Your choice.

    My acknowledgement of the TRD skid is evident, every time I approach my Sport...I'm proud of the fact I bought this accessory.

    I speak only for myself. Glad you’re happy with your purchase. I like my skid and don’t sweat having paid more for the oem, but hindsight, I spent more then I needed to.

    Idk, now that I have a skid plate on mine, I notice it on other tacomas alot more often. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and realized it was a silver powder coat color, not white like I saw advertised
