I was far too crippled from the 2 day roof extravaganza to do anything productive today.

Mrs Green and I took a road trip out and about and had dinner at Olive Garden, we had a gift card from the B-I-L, I had never been there.

Herb Grilled Salmon & Zuppa Toscana Soup -- Damn Sam, that was good!
Came home and fell asleep in the chair.

 

Zuppa Toscana is fantastic.

My wife has wanted some a few times over the last couple of years but the "real" soup has gluten in it so she's made a GF version that was pretty damn good.

 

We rarely eat out, especially at a high dollar place. A big meal out is usually lunch at Sam's Club which is a stellar deal, pizza and drink plus an ice cream for 2 people for less than $10.

I was just looking at a recipe of how to make a doppelganger... It even looked pretty easy.

As I was sitting there eating my fancy meal I got to thinking -- my cooking is rather heavy handed, industrial even. I can fill a belly but I'm never going to impress anyone.

Candy Corn was considered a treat when I was a kidlet I have not tasted any in at least 45 years I sure would not buy any myself.

With my legs out of the game so to speak everything I do now has to be done in a completely different way.

Everything Hurts it seems my body says enough foolishness go back to bed.The brain says push through the pain. After all it just tells you your still alive.

The last step in the parking brake repair is get the clip on the cable in the cab. That in typical fashion went flying when removed.

Between the front parking brake cable and the oil ,fuel, and air filter it be a 4 day job till it is finished.

My first Coffee this morning tastes better then in a very long time.

We made a quick trip to the mountains yesterday after the funeral, was a nice cap for the weekend.




This girl wasn’t supposed to be here, my wife ask if she was okay. She said yes and thanks for checking. We saw her walking around later.

I am guessing that is private land?

Sometimes I know it feels good to be alone with the woodland animals when I was young I was much more Comfortable in the woods

Yes sir, not far from Mt. Airy.

It's about 45 minutes to an hour from the house.

We could see it from the ferris wheel last weekend at the fair.

 

I don't have it that bad in my house. Just 1 run, that I know of, that is asbestos insulated. That and my entire basement has 9" x 9" asbestos linoleum flooring. Thankfully, it's been encapsulated.

Zuppa is good, but the Chicken Gnocchi is better!

I was thinking- Just to clarify Shane I dont mean any disrespect by the "machinist by affiliation only" thing, I meant it like I couldn't learn to do what you do, how you do it in 100 lifetimes. Nothing but respect brother.

 

Guy with the truck must've gotten lost somewhere.

 

A guy I work with became my super. So far he's been pretty good. He knows what goes on, how things move at a snails pace, and stays off our backs even when getting pressure from above. So far.
