    Installed new pass side rear caliper as the bleeder wouldn't open. Bleeding in process.

    For future reference best way to bleed brakes is to work the abs system first, then manually pump the brakes to double check till happy with the caliper being worked on. Repeat for all sides.

    One of our friends has a snap on modis. Plugged in the k-17 key communicates with the ECU to operate the abs system for 4 seconds. They're other cheaper obd connectors but think they require a subscription of some kind.

    Makes life much easier. The Tacoma is the worst for this with the older vacuum style master. With the hydro boost self contained unit you just hold the brake pedal a couple of times and it'll operate itself to aid in bleeding. Mostly on 4runners and off road tacomas

    Altec makes a few levels of OBD tools. Their cheapest is what I have. It will work on 2009+ for activating the ABS module. It won't for the older. Even the SnapOn Solus will only turn on the older models, as an On/Off function test. Such as on my 2006.

    The bleed method that Lucario Runner stated, had a lot of air come out, after the first ABS bleed sequence, by the Solus. Then the manual pump method got the rest. The second go around, was jut to be thorough.

    Best method that I have ever done.

    As a review the vibrations are the same or a tiny bit less than with the old factory transmission mount for those curious.
