Moi aussi, although I don't think quite as severe as yours.

 

Seem so simple: Get in bed -- fall asleep -- wake up feeling refreshed...

NOT!

I have always had problems falling asleep, just can't get my brain to shut off.
Then I don't stay asleep, bolting awake multiple time a night.

Now as an added enhancement when I do sleep I have very unusual dreams -- in the past I might have 2-3 dreams a year.

Sometimes music plays all night in my head (loudly), I get up feeling like I spent the night at a concert...

 

I feel ya pain!!!!

 

Refreshed?? I sleep but rarely "good sleep" something always hurting waking me up

 

Done any tests for sleep apnea or any other sleep disorder?

My body won I said screw this and went back to bed not like I really need to be any where.

2 cups of Coffee I was out in a few minutes.

 

I have had a machine for several years now. It used to be pain that would wake me up and the machine helped with that quite a bit.

I wish I had the machine 25 years earlier. Seems your body does a lot of repairs when sleeping.

 

Nice and tidy.

Shame that most of the "important" folks in industry never see the quality work that hides in control cabinets.

... and many aren't swift enough to appreciate it anyway ...

 

Far to many would have no idea what they were looking at.
