What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Added an organizer for the center cubby.

also added a wireless airplay adapter, and since I’m not a baller like all of you who have wireless charging built into your trucks, I added wireless charging to the center console.

 

Took the skid plate off to give it a good wash before undercoating and noticed all the rock rash on the wheels from last weekends wheeling trip. Got around to throwing on the fuel/water can holder. Don’t mind the drips, just amsoil MP.

 

Finished wiring up the new Diode Dynamics Elite fogs this past weekend. These have VERY good output and actually match the Morimoto XB headlights better than the Morimoto XB fogs somehow. They also have a very sharp hid-esque cutoff and a pretty sweet backlight when they're not on. So far I'm a little unimpressed with the backlight brightness though. I was hoping it would act as more of a drl but looks only bright enough to really be seen under dim lighting. At least they had perfect fitment. I snagged some harnesses from @daveeasa to run the backlighting without having to splice anything and was very pleased with them. These harnesses use all OEM connectors and are built very well, absolutely worth the price.

Bilstein 5100's just went on. Happier now that it's leveled out. Mechanic asked why with only 800 miles would I put new shocks on it. HaHa.

I hacked my @Clazzio center console cover. I might add some foam and glue it under the cover side to give more cushion and tight. I tried to leave the OEM rubber cover but the plastic part would not latch.

That’s the first license plate bracket I’ve seen working with aftermarket bumpers

 

What made you choose the 285/70 vs the 285/75? I’m unsure which to go with

Went from the stock Hankook HTs size 245/75R16 to Cooper Rugged Treks in 265/70R16. Stock wheels and suspension. Did give it a much better stance and look. Rides about the same although I did notice some road noise on the highway coming home from the shop.

 

Washed to get rid of bugs from last week 600 miles round trip to Montana.
