    Lois McMaster Bujold, she writes Space Opera and Fantasy. Notably the Vorkosigan, Wide Green World, World of the Five Gods, and Penric’s Demon series. 4 Hugo awards and 2 Nebula awards says it better than I can. If you like Goodkind try Curse of Chalion. If you like David Weber try the Vorkosigan Novels starting with Shards of Honor. Regardless of the situation, she does people to the hilt. If you like them read them all, there aren’t any duds.

    I do read a ton of scifi and fantasy. And scifi fantasy. Most of my books are absorbed in 20 minute chunks though with audiobooks on my drive to and from work.
