I think I saw you posted somewhere else about the problems you were having , can you not pay a glass deductible and have the windsheild replaced / re-sealed ?

 

I ran my truck 60 mph over rough 2 lane road for about 10 miles with a load of firewood (wet firewood), that was overfilled above the bed.
The cost was $40 for as much as I can hand load in the bed of my truck and you better believe I got as much firewood as I can get in there.
I didn't have no problem!

YES! but thats not right, I cant drive 60mph on a 70 mph. freeway beacuase my windshield makes noise. The real issue is against a cross or front facing wind but obnviously a window seal raising and whistling in a wind is not acceptable.

 

I camp/drive a lot from arizona to california. The winds driving westbound can be pretty significant. Each trip has caused me to drive 60 on a 70mph freeway, totally unaceptable.

 

You didn't answer my question about glass replacement insurance .

 

yea, I am a hick, I heat my home with firewood and coal, but I don't have to pay a $500 per month natural gas, electric, or heating oil bill, and when oil and gas prices rise outta sight I can relax and be comfortable in my nice warm home living on deer meat and trout that I killed and cleaned myself.
When the end of the world happens I will survive and you guys will be in panic.

 

I cut , split , haul and heat with firewood too , I live in Old Growth Logging country , I got peices of guys like you in my stool .

What does that have to do with the OP's problems ?

 

I will give you a ring when the wold ends and see if I can buy some wood. But I will understand if you say no and will just die a slow agonizing death like everyone else. Thanks.

I went and got my free leaf springs that I really didn't need just to piss people off

 

My 09 came stock with the " TSB " springs .

 

I wish mine did...

you're right, this post is getting off subject, but I have no problems with my rear leaf springs and I can't understand why everybody else does?
I think most guys just want those rear leafs cause they can get them for free, or thy want that jacked up lift look with oversize tires.
also what else I can't understand that some of you guys are not a tough guy like me that can work hard and survive and you guys have a wife that trusts you for her well being, I can't understand how a wife is devoted and in love with any man thats not a tough guy.
I am not cutting anybody down, its just confusing to me, I tend to think when the world does come to an end your wife will be running to a man like me to care for her cause you guys turned into jello
