Let's See Your Dogs!!

Had Kimo out front when a kid walking a small ‘poo kind of dog came from behind the truck. When it saw Kimo, it launched an air attack to the point it hit the end of the leash. Kimo just looked at it and peed on the tree. The kid might have thought dog fight. Idk. They went back the way they came.

Always get a kick out of these situations for no other reason than the surprise on the owners face. Most are walking with zero attention to their dogs.

Supergirl!

 

Took home a foster last night. Her name is Freckles and she's three months old.

Has made herself at home immediately. Perfect in her crate at night. Not even a peep. Plays well with the bigger dogs and is (mostly) house trained.

Doesn't know any basic commands though. We've been working on 'sit' and 'lay down' today with a bit of success. She'll be a quick learner.

 

She's very cute.

And for a puppy she's surprisingly innocent. Very easy. Especially for one with no basic commands.

She is fairly frightened of feet and shoes though so I assume she's unfortunately learned some lessons the hard way.

On the subject of rescues...

 

I think she wants to play.

 

I can't believe they actually show Corgi racing on ESPN. And there's a crowd watching?!

 

Do they serve beer at the races? Asking for a friend.

 

I feel a foster fail coming on

 

Ha. No. She's our tenth(?) foster in the past couple years. We already have two at home.

 

Our rescue cattle dogs. They could not be more different.
