Cool! My wife homeschooled both of our boys all the way thru, they are 23 and 27 now, so she was pre Internet and it was not very popular around here at the time. I thought our school system was :der::facepalm::puke:way back then, now... !!!!

The only time our youngest set foot in school was for a two year electrical technician college program that prepared him to apprentice as an electrician. He finished with the highest mark in the entire program.

There is a lot I could say about homeschooling, to sum it up, hands down, the best parenting decision we ever made.

Factories can be really sad places to work.

Some guys would proudly tell how when they left school (by whatever means) "...and they never read or studied anything ever again...", I heard that line almost word for word 100's of times.

Imagine 20, 30 or 40 years actually endeavoring not to learn... Sad, aggravating and terrifying at the same time. :(:eek:

I think its getting better now but GED was limiting in some respects for jobs. I know for a while Air Force didnt allow GED, had to be high school diploma or better which made no sense because GED was better education

    Thanks man! :fistbump:

Trust me, I wish I could sleep -- in the bed, the chair -- anywhere really...

Our boys took the :canada: GED test together, our oldest did it 5 years after he finished his home schooling. Our youngest needed it to get into college, our oldest did it just in case he needed it later. Both aced it, but were unsure at first because they finished in about half the allotted time and wondered if they missed something. :)

Sorry, hope it doesn't sound like I'm bragging!

Next time suggest they have sex toys at home and ask them which ones they have? When they look offended just say “Oh, I thought we were asking inappropriate presumptive questions of each other."

You guys might find it surprising, but I didn't finish High School myself. I did get my GED at 17 though. Even my current employer hasn't asked for it even though it said it's required.

I know the feeling. I waited a little over a month for my Bakflip X4S from truck alter. It was back ordered/custom made and drop shipped from Bakflip. Kind of wish I went with the Lomax, but if I do replace it I'd rather have a shell for the extra cargo space. :tumbleweed::turtleride:

Better hard now then they suffer as adults.

There are always more subjects that can be explored .

The Doctor was just trying to get more business put them in school always bringing home what is going around it seems. Friends with children in school always seem to have something .

I to have been having the music also, not even stuff I would listen too. It goes away for me in a while. Not diving deep in medical, but some meds for bp and what not can cause dream issues.
