Had a little time after work to do a quick install.

 

I drove my 01 tundra for the first time today

The 3.4 with the 5 speed is a real delight vs the auto

Wouldn't mind this truck as my only vehicle

Sell the 4 runner, sell the celica, keep the tundra... save the money enjoy the new daily/project

Maybe my new direction

That's on Toyota's hands now, apparently for the Ravs there was a TSB on the white paint issue so we just need to take it in. Weird they never did that for Tacomas because the white ones have the same issue

 

4x4 or 2wd?

Don't see many 5-speed Tundras to begin with, but a 4x4 would be an especially odd duck.

 

Yeah they only offered that on the V6 base model ones, essentially a 1st Tacoma under a 1st gen Tundra cloak. Or a T100

 

2wd, but I have a trans t case diff and spindles

 

It's literly just a bigger Tacoma... the front end geometry is identical... only slightly different parts and a wider axle with the same diff and brakes

 

Kind wish I had kept my solos to put on those truck... would've bolted up fine with a simple spacer

 

You make me want to find a similar set of wheels for the LC...

18 months ≈ 40k tuition
