What have you made/created today?

Found a new winter hobby while my boat is hibernating..
Painting fishing lures.
Finished these for my boy for Christmas.

My color eye is back and white.. LOL
But, I’m having fun..

 

Another wife creation.

She made a baby blanket with owls then kept the theme going with a snuggle sack and cap.





She said she wanted a doll to model it. I got one of those gleams in my eye and she knew exactly what I was up to.

I grabbed the Baby Yoda she made, took the robe off and stuffed him in.

 

Been building another model which kind of went down a rabbit hole, so I figured I'd post it here. Nowhere near finishing, but pretty happy with the work thus far. The kit in question:



I went a little stupid with modifications, so it now has working suspension (front leading arm, rear walking beam) and steering. I also detailed engine, plus various smaller details around other parts as well. There were some clearance issues with the leading arm, so it had to be narrowed to avoid hitting the fuel tank. The wheel are just mocked-up using pins and putty; not yet ready to mount them. I have a few more details to finish, then the chassis will be ready for paint.

 

The detail! I like that drive to add functionality. Takes the model just that much further.

 

Thanks! Probably going to try to build a small base with terrain for this one. No sense doing all this work just to sit flat on a shelf.

 

Gotta have it flexed out on churned up mess of a battlefield.

 

Been making a miniature Lely since June, finally ready for paint. Thank goodness powdercoat will hide a lot of the ugliness.

Finished my shift knob project. Olive wood from a tree with sentimental value, treated with Danish oil and wax. Spacer is padauk, also treated with Danish oil.



It feels good to caress my knob when I drive.

I did something similar when I got tired of fighting the cup holder inserts in my truck lol

we looked for someone to do our house windows but , couldn’t find anyone so, I started to dabble. This is 1 I did in the house.

 

had a garage accident. the bike slipped and fell into the welder.
