C&B wants to list it with no reserve. So, I'm not going to list it.
While I'm willing to negotiate, I'm not willing to risk it selling at no reserve.

Well that's because the economy has been fucked over and most people are scrounging just to buy food and gas.

@DVR Absolutely beautiful truck. Question - I thought the "Hilux" was JDM, which would be right hand drive. Has this been converted? Please teach me. GLWS!

Very nice. If it were a 5 speed I might have been interested.

Hilux was a model. Also sold in the US.
This truck was sold new in Ca.
Wikapedia says the name was retired prior to production of my truck.
I've heard conflicting information on that.
It's a Toyota truck, possibly with no other model name. I may be incorrect calling it a hilux.
I'll look closer at the original window sticker and see if it offers any clarification.
It's still for sale until my new pro arrives. At that point, I'll just keep it.

When I was looking I dismissed automatic's as well.
After looking at all the junk on the market, I found this one.
Once I saw the condition, transmission became irrelevant. I was so happy to find on in this shape that I didn't even drive it. I handed over the money, pulled it on the trailer and hauled ass before he changed his mind.
Trucks of this era, in this condition aren't too common.

I can see your point but if I'm gonna spend that kind of $$ just so I can relive my youth I'm gonna hold out for my old 5 speed. I wanna row my own gears while reminiscing.

The real problem is, a truck that nice, potentially being driven by someone who doesn't "get it". Back in the day when it was younger, maybe no huge deal, it can take the punishment OK. But these days, the thought of my kid taking something like that for a spin and just mashing it into stuff, oh, it would make me so sad.

You wanna crash my truck, son, you better figure out how to shift it first :)

That's a pretty big price drop. I would hang onto it if I were in your shoes and it wasn't a money crunch but rather just a space crunch. I guess it fully depends on your options for long term storage.

I know. Don't want to sell and know I'll regret it.
Not a money problem, just space. 6 trucks, 3 car garage. 2 new trucks otw.

Bring a trailer might be another auction site to look at. Some things go for stupid amounts.
