Oh sorry, was talking about the chemical guys "All cleaned up so I'm Dropping a pic... Chemical Guys Blacklight wash and polish/sealant really give the black paint a "deeper" appearance. I'll try and use it once a year from now on.."
but yeah stupid me didn't read it carefully that you already did it. My bad lol.

After owning two black vehicles (still have mine), all I can say is black paint is really not for lazy people.

This metallic paint is much more forgiving than a non metallic black..

I just try and give a good pressure wash once every couple months and follow up with a spray wax. I've always had vehicles that you could spray way when dirty and they still looked good.... that's not the case with black at all... its always dirty. Even when its clean. Bright sunlight is my trucks worst enemy

My initial impulse was to get the SCS F5 wheels in silver... however that's not a "normal" color and there were only limited runs made... that made me gravitate towards the gunmetal... it was tough to get a set of 4 in the size/offset/color I wanted, so I wound up getting the bronze..... I didn't want a black truck (but that's what I wound up getting) and I didn't want bronze wheels (but that's what I wound up getting)..

It grew on me.. I feel like for wheels more important than color is the offset and size.. you have to be satisfied with how your rig sits. Then the color becomes less of a factor (to me anyway)

I am presently a very proud owner of a 2017 Limited. Thought I had a photo, but no. I have tried to really keep her nice, clean, polished and interior as nice as the outside. A few months ago family moved closer to wife and I, good news, the bad part is they live on a gravel road. Every trip to and from the truck is covered in dust. I make sure to keep the A/C on recirculate to help keep the dust away from the interior, it helps but inside gets dusty quickly. No other color looks as good as black (when it's clean) and no other looks so bad (when it's dirty). Dirty looks like you don't care about it.
I was just about to purchase some new tires. Looking for 10 ply rated to handle the gravel roads. Found out I was going to pay around $900 to $1100. Happened to look at KBB and saw what she was worth so called the local Toyota dealer and was able to deal over the phone and have a 2023 SR Double Cab 2.7 2wd on order, it's white. Yeah it's not fancy, it's got the 4cyl and only 2wd but white doesn't look so bad when it's dirty and I won't feel so bad driving it around dusty. Besides in 5 years I only used the 4wd once or twice during winter weather. I know some will scratch their heads and wonder why go from fancy to plain but it is ok with me.
