C load has a little more puncture resistance and you can air down lower for offroad. On the flip side they are heavier and stiffer so they ride worse on the road and give worse gas mileage. It's a trade off.

They’re 265/70/17. It’s a 2nd Gen running boards. I really like them. Helps when cleaning the roof and some door ding protection. Cheaper than the actual 3rd Gen aluminum version.

A light truck C would be more puncture resistant than P rated, pretty sure most LT tires you'll find for tacomas are either C or E rated though.

 

A C load tire is common and comfortable on daily driven truck.

 

Right, I thought he was talking about an E rated tire versus a C. In my experience a C is the way to go for a Taco.

 

Yeah I did this too. I went with the drill and rivet version

 

I bought an extra tire same as the other 4. Rotation is key.

i like that it’s black instead of silver like oem one you can get from toyota. Plus the edges aren’t slanted, but more rounded in corners which adds to cargo capacity a bit.
Was pretty easy to install, but i had to remove my bed stiffeners to install this so that sucks, but it’s nice for hauling lumber.

 

I applied Fluid Film to underside and frame.

 

Does it flip like the Nissan version? It looks like it lifts out then is placed on the tailgate

I see it does flip good deal.

 

It has a pivot point and can fold inside the bed or out on the tailgate.

 

I had a frontier in my stable at one time. never modded it thou. Really didn’t have too lol.
