We must just be allergic to work. Sounds like early retirement it is.

No if only I could win that lottery I don't play....:bananadead:
I ended up using 30 mins of pto since I got in super late from sleeping in and had to get gas and make it to an appointment right after work. would've been down to the minute if I hadn't.

    Hi crew!
Just putting in so many hours at work....it's 12.5 hour days 6 days a week then 45 min drive each way
.....Toe after the night shift >:bananadead:
Machine shop is short handed this outage to boot.
I actually had last night off but just rather burnt out to even log in and say hi.
Didn't do much on my night off; changed oil in wife's Tacoma, a little :washing:
And then some :pumpkin: theme movies...
Oh! And I took my new pew pew outta the box and wiped it down and swab the barrel...certainly must have been fired once at the factory I'm guessing.
Make me wonder if they match a slug to serial numbers now too. I mean understand if they test fire them once as I'm sure most firearms are...just wondered about the trace part.:notsure:
It's a real pretty pistol, Anaconda.
    I'll share a picture eventually.
    Time to go to bed.
    Hope everyone is doing well.
    :hattip:

I’m not aware of any firearms manufacture that ballistically records bullets to barrels. The gun is test fired at the factory before shipping but that’s it. ATF doesn’t keep any factory bullet data either but does keep slug data from LE agencies in a system called NIBERS. This is weapons/bullets LE recover as evidence and the info is shared to see if the firearm was linked to an other crimes.

We've got an almost identical lathe in our museum section... would LOVE to have that shaper, and if you could manage to stick a couple of stamps on that Cletrac and send it my way, it would be much appreciated. Looks like a later 30s Model E.

Still waiting... according to my friend who lives up there (it's about 200 miles north of me), the family isn't fully in agreement on either (a) if they will sell them; and (b) if they do, how much they will want for them. I'm starting to get the feeling that they figure they've got eight or ten tons of pure gold and want to charge accordingly. Mehhh... if they agree to sell at my price, great, if not... I've been known to pay a little too much on occasion for old iron, but I do have limits...
