Yeah...I guess so. Haha. Either email them the 2 side images, take the bike into the insurance office, or have it inspected by an approved location. First time I've had to do this but it's easy enough!

I think mine is just the regular. It's been a game changer from what my DRZ was.

Pretty sure that's the point. Just to make sure I'm not claiming a clapped out/messed up bike as being worth $12K when it's really worth $500

I need to put the stock seat on one day. I've never ridden with it on. I wouldn't imagine it's comfortable......but I need to know

Back in 1995 when I bought the Buell in my avatar picture my insurance agent asked me to bring it to his office so he could see it. I'd really only dealt with him by phone or mail to that point so I just figured maybe he needed to take pictures or verify something as Buell was a young company. Set a time and rode over to his office. He came out and just really looked it over. Commenting about features and lots of questions then asked me to come into his office. There are old racing trophies and black and white photos of him racing motorcycles in Europe in the late 50's and early 60's! Turned out he was just a total gear head who just really wanted to see the bike. He'd actually met Erik Buell at Daytona years before.

The dealership I bought the bike from had it. I guess the PO kept it when he bought a new one.
I didn't have a need for it, but I took it

My coworker told me to gently drop/slide my helmet when I got it, I told him he was a moron, I wasn’t going to intentionally do that, he said it was bad luck if I didn’t but the three times I laid it over I didn’t touch the helmet so….

Meh, light scratches are fine, you don’t want to see anything past light damage outside and you don’t want to see any unusual formations on the softer inside of the helmet caused by impact with weight inside. I believe fortnine has a video about how often gear should be replaced where he talks about the technicalities of the helmets.

Not really, although after chatting with him and learning about his collection of bikes I did offer to let him take it out for a ride. He had actually served in Europe towards the end of WWII and had lived over there for a few years after the war. I used to run into him periodically at bike shows where he used to show his Harley Davidson WLA from WWII and he could still wear his old uniform while damned near 70 years old! He still had several old Triumph, BSA, and Norton motorcycles in his collection some of which were old race bikes.

My dream back in the day was always to have a black and blue K7 gixxer.

Agreed love that generation. My favorite is the K5/6 1000, that bike is a monster and no traction control or other nannies

    I had a 99 600 with D&D exhaust. I painted the wheels to match the "R"

Holy shi*. This will remind me to wear more gear, always a helmet and gauntlet gloves but lack a jacket often. Can't get over the missing teeth. Do you have implants or platinum grill now? :/
Congrats, bike looks sick. I love how Suzuki can continuing to get away with changing nothing but the fairings and people continue to buy them. Do love the newer 2021+ fairings on these bikes. Only thing i'd recommend adding is case savers in the event the bike is dropped and or sliders. The aluminum cases don't hold up well sliding on pavement.

Have a 2018 600 with a laundry list of mods in triton blue. Doing Ohlins front internals, full exhaust, lightech axle adjusters and a lap timer.
