It's not resolved. Drove the 3 hours back home though, no Rock Therapy for me this year. Not sure why my battery isn't getting a charge.

So the new alt is only putting out 17 amps? Typically amps only change depending on load, so if the battery is becoming fully charged and low is load amperage will stay low no? How jumpy is the new alt? Mine regularly goes between 13.8-14.3 depending on load.

Did you check the 80a main alt fuse, if you have stock wiring that can end all the fun pretty quick

Can't say enough good things about my friends, thank you @BartMaster1234 for the glasswork and thought and care you put into fixing them. I'm also thankful for the friend pictured here, who is a body guy by trade. Helped me get everything fitted decent without hacking and drilling a ton.

Got a little more cutting to do for the 35s to clear the base of the new fender but that won't take much to fix, then I can put the bumper on and cut the wings to fit as well.

At the battery it was a steady 14.4 on my meter. Readings from obd and cig circuit were anywhere from 12.8 to 16.3. After disconnecting all of my wiring I saw 27a at idle.

Mine has a 120a fuse in the alternator spot on the fuse block under the hood. It appeared fine. I couldn't get it out to confirm though.

Just a "quick", temporary table solution that I can use on my 2-night camping trip:

    upload_2022-10-18_22-4-27.jpg

Notched the plywood around the left-hand upright so the board rests on the top of the swing arm crossbar. A couple of notches to use Voile straps to hold it down, then a couple strands of cheap cord and jam-cleat carabiners as support struts. This will give me an idea of whether this is the table solution I want to use going forward.

    A slightly different angle.

Nice work with the temp table. The tailgate, is that just marine carpeting over a mountain hatch style tailgate cover?

Thanks! The tailgate cover is left over Bedrug from when I installed it in the bed area.

Interesting, looks like they just made it into the 2nd gen Tacoma LBJ design except it still has 4 bolts instead of the 2 (obviously)

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Seems like it's just going off the same principle of this. https://anonymousfab.com/products/tacoma-4runner-lower-uniball-conversion. I'm wondering if since this is Total Chaos, we wont see the same comments about using Uniballs as we did when it was the same thing on the Anonymous fab ball joints. Or comments about the price, which Anonymous Fab was notably cheaper than these from TC. (AnonFab is currently Sold Out is why I say "was")

Not sure what they are claiming on "better steering geometry" Judging by the shape, the geometry would be different, for sure.

It claims to bolt directly to a factory spindle, which would mean it should work with a Solo Spindle. You can use factory LBJs with Solo Spindles. You just can use a factory spindle with a Solo LBJ. If it will bolt directly to a factory spindle, I'd assume it would also bolt to a Solo Spindle.

Ya I have lots of the same questions, but don't care enough to look into it with that price tag.
I meant the steering geo in regards to the solo LCA's with those LBJ's. i.e. possibly more bumpsteer since it's moved forward more than stock. I'm sure it would bolt up just fine.

Ya, that would also be a consideration with the LBJ getting pushed forward.

The price for AnonFab is a couple hundred cheaper, plus he takes off some of the price if you send him OEM or 555 LBJs. You could theoretically be 400 bucks cheaper than the TC LBJs
