I ordered the stuff to mount my awning to the truck. Should have it on this weekend.

I didn't realize I ordered 50 of these t-nuts. I will only need 6(or 9 if I use all 3 holes on each bracket)

    Yes
15 but if you're wanting to get your feet wet on a black there I'd say 16 or there are some up near Carryville that are good. They're easier and fun rides. 15 you won't take damage unless you do something dumb like take a trail limo down it. You just have to take your time and really hit your marks right. The non buggy side is getting worse than the buggy line so probably have to winch there.

The trails change every time it rains. But they are pretty good at going through and fixing their trails if they get too bad. I rode 15 a few times, the 2nd time it was somewhat harder and the 3rd time after they worked on it, it was really easy. I don't think anyone should ride any trail unless they are willing to accept the possibility of damage. But I also believe people should do what they are comfortable doing. I drove my Tacoma all over the U.S. on some really hard trails and the only body damage I ever had was when I was backing up to get a better line and slid back down in the mud and broke a tail light lens at Stony. I have broken a few Cvs but each time I knew I was either going to do what I was trying to do or break something. I knew I was pushing my luck but that was something I was prepared for and didn't care if it happened and it was most always something I knew I sould not be doing. Before I ever went to Windrock I heard people talk about the double black diamonds so when I got there trail 15 was the first trail we did. I was nervous all the way through it. I took my time and made it through without a scratch. But I have also been on a lot of trails where I said no way in hell I am doing that and turned around. The only reason I say this is I think people should go see what they are comfortable with and then try a little harder trail each time. Most damage comes from people not knowing how to react to the situation they are in. That can only be improved if you push yourself a little harder each time. There is no trail I won’t go look at, I may or may not do them depending on my comfort level. Body damage is possible on just about any trail anywhere, I have seen body damage on trail 600-1 at Talladega. But for the people that want to try the harder stuff just go look at it to see, you can always do like I do and say no and turn around. Everyone rates the trails on their views and their views come from their comfort level. I would never tell someone they can or can’t do a trail because I have been surprised at what a lot by what people do.

But no trail should be attempted even the green and blue ones unless you are willing accept there could be some body damage because it is always possible but always go look if you want to improve your skills. You don't need to go from 600-1 straight to 15, just do the trails you are comfortable on. There is usually always a little side trail or obstacle that is harder than what you are used to that you can try to improve your comfort level, on any trail.

With that said, the right spotters and having people that truly know what they're doing is huge. I never felt uneasy out in Moab(and I don't know shit about wheeling )......or really anywhere I have gone. My buddy in TN has put me in the right spots and never had me in a "puckered butt" feeling...........even though I spent A LOT of time on my skids and sliders

Getting ready to go ride this weekend.
Yes the right spotter is key if you need one. But be carefull there to, some people think they can spot people and should not be doing it. They will get you in a bad spot and then not know what to do and walk away or say my bad.

key word there is "right" haha. Only BD i got was when @ovrlndkull was spotting :boink:. Just making fun my man lol. Really wasn't his fault the bank gave way cause it was super soft. But yea i agree with jeff some spotters can be worse than no spotters. I always let someone i trust spot me.

Yeah, "right" is the key word :D Luckily, I've not wheeled enough or in hard enough places to run into a bad spotter.

These guys drive these cars and trucks to different parks to ride, Gambler 500 I beleive they call it. They do it all over the U.S. and only suppose to spend $500 on their vehicle. They drive them too no trailers. I was part of the recovery team at Stony three years ago, these guys had a blast.

I watched Dirt Every Day or 4 Wheeler or Roadkill(I think) where they did one in a Merc wagon

They've pretty much quit doing maintenance on 15. It's gotten worse everytime I've gone. I'll add sometimes body damage happens due to adverse conditions and things out of your control. I've gotten a few dents like that because it was so wet couldn't stop from sliding into something. Other dents completely my fault.

yea ive seen lots of ppl say 35's might not even cut it for that trail. Mainly to keep you off the wall on the vnotch without scraping the whole way. IDK id have to walk the whole thing before i got deep into and realized im getting some serious damage and no way around.
