Man I'm glad I'm not the only one underperforming! ha All these folks counting miles in the thousands and I'm about even with you. I can't even imagine the fitness and skill improvements if I were riding 2000+ miles a year!

All this talk of tracking data and goals. Kinda glad I’m not in that camp. Got a new phone recently and apparently none of my Strava data carried over. I’d be super pissed if I was actually tracking those metrics.

Yup. Might not have proper iCloud/backup settings correct though. Even when I go to Strava.com vs my app I’m only seeing data that’s been captured post phone change.

All good though. Zero sleep lost.

I normally do at least twice my number but just haven't been up to it this year.

@ginseng27 and @abacall are animals on a bike speaking from experience.

I set a target of 1000 miles and 100k feet but the numbers are really arbitrary. So far this year I’ve done well over 1000 km and about 20k meters so it’s all good. It’s way past time for us to starting using the metric system more seriously in this country.

I think I'm probably behind on average too, but I don't normally keep track or ever have any kind of goal. Just out having fun when I get the chance, but with a toddler and multiple other hobbies I don't see 2000 miles a year in my future.

Haha! I'm flattered that I'm considered an animal on a bike.

Tons of riding in that area, you wont have trouble finding closer rides. Although Kanuga laps hit a bit different.

Yes, I try and set a goal for the year, last year was 1000 miles.
I use cyclemeter app and it keeps good details for each ride and it keeps a runni g total for the year which makes it easy to check.Screenshot_20221019-173408.jpg
This year has been terrible, but I'm dealing with a newborn and herniated disc in my back.
