A little something every chance we get.
if I hadn't been so careful to lube it all up as I worked it, and used a Jewlers' screwdriver shaft to prevent twist as I worked it on, I would agree. Now, the replacement was just a tiny bit smaller (diameter and circumference) than the 15 year old original, but there's really no way to compare. I had to assume they sent me the right thing. I did the same thing putting the old one back on, and slid it on and off three times - no issue.
Could have been me, might just not have been the size it should of been.
Tomorrow, the rest of the stuff goes back on, and we'll see! Trying to get a replacement fan clutch out of AutoZone - might work, but noisy as all get out!!

We have a pool. There are a bunch of O-rings scattered about. I always bathe everything in lube and massage them just so!

I was working for a Napa store in Bentonville Arkansas when Autozone began their big push to compete, opening more stores. Sometime around '87, I think.

The store I was working in had a fire... and it closed. The people that owned it had two stores, the other several miles away, and they kept me employed until I found another position at the Bentonville O'Reilly's store. In the meantime a local independent parts store had a fire...

I'd had some training in fire prevention at an earlier job. In walking around the O'Reilly's store, fronting shelves and generally trying to improve the store's appearance, I noticed something odd. In a corner, in the bottom of a display holding bed mats, a display with a metal bottom with edges folded up forming a tray... I found two bottles, open, and tipped over so the contents were mixing. I cleaned up the spill... and it suddenly dawned on me that the chemicals were likely to cause spontaneous combustion. I called the local fire department and they took the containers. Later they called back and verified that the bottle contents would have started a fire under the bed mats and they suggested that the heavy smoke would have obscured the fire until the building was fully engulfed.

Autozone opened. No arsonist was ever found. Life goes on.

First one was like a 2 foot needle going through one shoulder to the other.

Last mow (s) this weekend. (Maybe earlier) lol
Then Pressure wash the push mower, mower deck.
One walk behind blower is ready.
    Other one today.

Nice! And nice you got the manual transmission. I believe the Tacoma is the only new new mid sized 4x4 pickup truck that can be had with a manual transmission. Not available now with the Nissan Frontier, or Ford Ranger.

Well, there is the one fallback in the midsized pickup truck segment, one which I would have hated to opt for, the Jeep Gladiator. Not a fan of the look (I'm sure it's an acquired taste), and not a fan of the reliability.
